‘Lung Cancer: Are Your at Risk’ Jan. 19 in Rochelle

ROCHELLE, Illinois — Monday, Jan. 19, SwedishAmerican Medical Group will host “Lung Cancer: Are You at Risk?” This free community presentation will take place at the SAMG/Rochelle Clinic, near the Caron Ridge Shopping Center at 380 Illinois Route 38, in Rochelle.

Lung cancer is the second-most-common cancer in both men and women, often going undetected until an advanced stage, which can affect survival. This informative community presentation from SwedishAmerican Pulmonologist Dr. Arvind Ponnambalam will provide information about risk factors; the latest detection methods; the importance of smoking cessation; the truth about e-cigarettes; and a quick, painless lung scan that could save someone’s life.
