Backyard Grill and Bar launches new menu Jan. 23

Backyard Grill and Bar will have a new menu for 2015. The new menu includes new items such as Lobster Mac N Cheese, the Egg-Treme Backyard Burger and more.
The menu is now the same for all three locations, so customers can enjoy the same food no matter which Backyard Grill and Bar they choose to visit.
To celebrate the newly printed menus, Backyard is having a live Facebook event at their Loves Park location Jan. 23, and all are invited. The goal is to have customers interacting and sharing their Backyard experience by posting in real time to the Backyard Grill and Bar Facebook Page. Visitors on this day will be given a ticket with instructions on how to post on Facebook and one lucky person will win a $50 gift certificate.
Aaron Wilson and the WIFR-TV crew will also be on location from 6 to 9 a.m., Jan. 23, to showcase Backyard Grill and Bar’s new menu.
According to Rich Schmidt, owner of Backyard Grill and Bar: “This is a great opportunity for us to showcase our new menu and our business. We celebrated our 18th anniversary in November, and we are committed to another 18 and more in the greater Rockford region.”
Of course, the day would not be complete without a special offer. The special for the day will be the Lobster Mac N Cheese and the Egg-Treme Backyard Burger, which are both new menu items. Customers can expect $1 off each on one of these items when purchased. The special is good at all three Backyard locations in Loves Park, Roscoe and Cherry Valley, and can only be redeemed on Jan. 23.
Backyard Grill and Bar’s “Backyard Burger” was winner of The Rock River Times’ 2013 “Best Rockford Burger” contest. The contest ran from early September through Nov. 1, 2013, with about 150 nominations being made.
Backyard’s three locations are at 6472 N. Second St., Loves Park; 5390 Elevator Road, Roscoe; and 201 E. State St., Cherry Valley.
