Bullet grazes man’s chin in 11th Street/15th Avenue shooting

At 3 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 22, a shooting victim walked in to SwedishAmerican Hospital Emergency Room. The victim suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot injury when a bullet grazed his chin.
The shooting happened near the intersection of 11th Street and 15th Avenue. The victim was driving a car in the intersection and the suspected shooter was in another car. The suspect shot at the victim’s car as they passed by one another.
The victim did not have any specific information about the suspect and no other information is available, according to Rockford police.
