Cherry Valley Public Library book sale beginning

This Saturday marks the official opening of Cherry Valley Public Library’s annual book sale.

For those who can’t wait until Saturday, Friends of the Library or patrons paying the $5 membership fee can attend Preview Day Friday from noon to 3 p.m.

The event will feature low prices and welcoming volunteer clerks to make it a more family-friendly experience.

Among the more popular items this year will be cookbooks and kids’ VHS tapes.

The sale will continue through March 29 during regular library hours.

Saturday, March 28 will feature Half Price Day and Sunday, March 29 will be Bag of Books for “2 Bucks Day.”
