Fireside Chat with FDR at Ida Public Library

Ida Public Library will be hosting a special event April 9 titled “Franklin D. Roosevelt – A Fireside Chat”.IdaLibLogoPortrait-smaller1

Living history actor RJ Lindsey will be in character detailing the presidency, his wife Eleanor and his relationship with British Prime Minister Winston Churchill.

Lindsey will also be sharing Depression-era letters from citizens and discussing the New Deal programs.

Lindsey holds a master’s degree from Illinois State University and is a member of Actor’s Equity, the Screen Actor’s Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists.

This event which is sponsored by the Friends of the Ida Public Library will begin at 6 p.m. and registration is not required.
