Rockford City Market is now taking applications for its upcoming sixth season which will open on May 22.
Applications can be found at rockfordcitymarket.com for vendors wishing to apply and will be accepted until April 3 for the first half of the season.
A new addition this year will be the Rockford City Market – North End (formerly known as the North End Commons Farmers Market) on Saturday mornings throughout the season.
The North End market, which has been moved across the street from the previous location for better visibility, will be managed by the Rockford City Market team.
The Rock River Development Partnership hopes that this addition along with adding new vendors will make the North Ends market a more relaxing Saturday morning destination.
The season for the Rockford City Market – North End will run from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Saturday mornings starting May 16 and going until October 31.
Applications must be mailed in by April 15 in order to be considered as a vendor for the North End market.
The downtown Rockford City Market will begin on May 22 and run through October 2.
The hours for the downtown market have shifted 30 minutes later this year, with the market beginning at 3:30 p.m. and ending at 8:30 until Labor Day and ending at 7:30 p.m. from then on.
