RVC hosting Student Documentary Showcase

The Rock Valley College Department of Mass Communication will be holding its sixth annual Student Documentary Showcase Friday at 6 p.m.

The showcase will be held in the Performing Arts Room located on the lower level of the Educational Resource Center on the RVC main campus.

All of the student films were produced in the fall of 2014 and cover a variety of topics.

The event will feature a a Q&A with the filmmakers after the show and is free to the public.

Included in the showcase are “Connected” by Jeff Hargraves, “Heart of a Horse” by Stephanie Lacny, “Socumentary” by Rachael Bohlin, “I’m a Single Mom” by Mirca Melendez Definitely, “In a Heartbeat” by Harrison Wood, “Klaus Thomas Asher: A Life of Music” by Jeff Taylor and “Last Chance for Dignity” by Colice McHenry.
