BMO Harris Bank in partnership with the Rockford IceHogs and the United Way of the Rock River Valley join together for the third annual sock drive to gather socks for homeless children in the Rockford area through Project Undershare.

Starting today donations can be made at the BMO Harris Bank Center Box Office, 300 Elm St., as well as all BMO Harris Bank branches in Rockford.

The sock drive will culminate on April 4 when the IceHogs hold “Sock Drive Night” with individuals who donate a new pair of children’s socks receiving a free IceHogs ticket.

To show additional support fans can take pictures of themselves in their favorite crazy socks and post them via social media using #BMOSockSelfie with images being shared during the game on April 4.

Last year over 2,800 pairs of socks were donated and this year they hope to pass 4,000.

BMO Harris Bank has committed to matching all sock donations for the Rockford community.

Hubert the Lion will be on hand at the April 4 game to thank the community as the donations are accepted.
