Wright’s Laurent House opening for tours

Frank Lloyd Wright’s “Little Gem,” the Kenneth and Phyllis Laurent House opens for the season with tours beginning Saturday, May 2.

Tours will be held on the first full and third weekends of the month through October.

There are five tours daily on these weekends beginning on the hour starting at 11 a.m. with the last of the day beginning at 3 p.m.

Reservations are required for tours and can be booked online at laurenthouse.com.

Tours begin at Midway Village Museum, 6799 Guilford Rd., with guests then being driven by shuttle bus to the Laurent House.

Admission for these tours is $15 per person.

Private tours are available by reservation with two week notice.

For private groups with less than 20 people there is a $100 surcharge.
