The Workforce Connection will be holding an event tomorrow to highlight local job opportunities in truck driving, welding, CNC machining and computer technology.
Job seekers are encouraged to talk to training providers and career counselors about employment prospects in these in-demand fields.
The First Institute mobile welding lab along with trucks from Spirit CDL Training and RVC Truck Driving School on display while instructors answer questions about available training.
Those interested in careers in transportation, manufacturing and technology information may be eligible for free short-term training.
The workshop will be held at 3 p.m. at the Regional Design Center, 315 N. Main St., in downtown Rockford.
