Oregon offers Unprecedented June Book Sale

The Friends of the Oregon Library have announced thanks in part to a massive donation, they are holding a book sale on June 13 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The sale will be held on the lawn of the Oregon Library, 300 Jefferson St., Byron.

The books will be sold with a set price per bag, which means however many books the buyer can fit in the bag.

A 11” x 16” Target shopping bag of books will be $3 and an Oregon Library cloth tote bag of books will be $10.

The library will have 44 books on CD for sale at a price of $1 each.

The library recently received a collection of 1,500 children’s books allowing them to offer more of their older collection for sale.

Children can read or check out books donated by the Library Foundation from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
