Fire & Iron holds Burn Benefit Ride

The Fire & Iron Station 53 Motorcycle Club will be holding a Burn Benefit Ride on June 13 to raise funds for the Illinois Fire Safety Alliance Burn Camp and OSF Saint Anthony Burn Unit.

The Illinois Fire Safety Alliance’s Camp “I am Me” gives children and teenagers who have suffered burn injures a chance at a special and unforgettable one week experience.

The escorted motorcycle ride will start at the Rockton Fire Station, 201 N. Blackhawk Blvd. in Rockton, and end at JimeZ Bar & Grill, 11677 Main St. in Roscoe.

Registration for the event begins at 9:00 a.m.,  kickstands go up at 11:00 a.m. and the ride is expected to end at 4:00 p.m.

The cost for participation is $20 per bike and preregistration is available at fireandiron53.com until June 6.

Fire & Iron Motorcycle Club’s membership is made up of firefighter’s and others associated with fire services including dispatchers, mechanics and inspectors who work in direct support of fire services.
