City Market offers activities for the whole family

Those attending the City Market this Friday will have plenty of opportunities to find something for the whole family.

Music this week will be provided by The Lone Canary, a folk/americana duo comprised of Rockford musicians Jesse Fox and Heather Camacho.

This year marks the band’s one year anniversary and also the release of their new album.

The Midway Village Museum will be providing materials for children to build free sock monkey headband ears.

Klehm Arboretum will be passing out materials at the market gates about Garden Fair.

Garden Fair will feature over 50 vendors showcasing everything from flowers , yard art and gardening tools to vintage furniture, reclaimed wood and handmade organic soaps.

Staff and providers from Rockford Memorial Hospital Level 1 Trauma Center & Emergency Department will be on hand at the market offering tips on staying safe this summer as well as information about InQuicker.

InQuicker is a new online scheduling system for Convenient Care and the Emergency Department that allows you to reserve a treatment time and wait at home.
