City Market offers several great activities again this week

Rockford Memorial Hospital’s Auxiliary Thrift Shop will have a booth this week at the City Market offering a chance to learn more about the Thrift Shop which is located at 2830 Glenwood Avenue.

Proceeds from the Thrift Shop benefit programs throughout Rockford Health System including scholarships, the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile which offers free dental and medical care to uninsured and underinsured children, medical equipment and renovations throughout the hospital.

International Experience will be at the Market gates looking for host families to house this year’s exchange students.

For kids Angelic Organics Learning Center will be on site with an activity and teaching the kids about their farm and animals along and Natural Land Institute will be offering a bird feeder craft allowing children to come to the booth and make bird feeders from pine cones and bird seed.

Music will be provided this week by Rockford acoustic duo Paper Airplane.
