Wisconsin Regional Art Program announces winners

The Wisconsin Regional Art Program’s (WRAP) June show held at the Beloit Fine Arts Incubator, 520 East Grand Avenue in Beloit, resulted in 11 artists advancing to a statewide competition that will be held this September in Madison.

WRAP exhibits began in 1940 to encourage the creative growth of non-professional artists.

The following artists are advancing to the state competition: Victoria Bein of Edgerton, Connie Fry of South Beloit, Roberta Haakinson of Beloit, Kelly Hausknecht of Edgerton, Starks of Beloit, Caitilin Williams Stolle of Brooklyn, Sherry Thurner of Janesville, and Robert Wildermuth of Clinton.

Additionally another eleven artists received honorable mentions for their work.
