Reservations are now being accepted for the annual RHS Ambassadors Golf Play Day which will be held on Monday, August 17 at Rockford Country Club, 2500 Oxford Street.
The annual event is hosted by the RHS Ambassadors, a volunteer organization of the Rockford Memorial Development Foundation that supports initiatives at Rockford Health System.
RHS Ambassadors, current and past board members, current and retired medical staff, managers, business partners, and others will hit the course to raise money for pediatric services at Rockford Health System.
Cost is $150 per person and includes 18 holes of golf, cart, lunch and dinner reception.
Play Day festivities begin at 11 a.m. with registration and lunch; then a shotgun start at noon, followed by a dinner reception and prizes at 5:30 p.m.
This event will feature contests plus ways to save your golf score like “mulligan treatments” and “licorice string therapy,” along with the return of the golf ball launcher where golfers can pay to use a hydraulics launcher to drive their ball on one hole.
To register for the Play Day visit rockfordhealthsystem.org/golf or contact the Foundation at 815-971-4141.
This event has sold out in the past, so spots are limited.
Reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis, and your paid registration reserves your spot.
Corporate sponsorships, which help make the Play Day successful, are also available by contacting the Rockford Memorial Development Foundation.
