Rockford Art Museum (RAM) presents Art in the Garden: Joie de Vivre on Saturday, August 1, at La Paloma Gardens, 3622 Brookview Road, in Rockford. Tickets are $175 each, or $1750 for a table of 10; corporate tables available. Reservations are required by Tuesday. Proceeds support RAM exhibitions and education programs throughout the year. The breathtaking La Paloma Gardens is once again the venue for this 11th annual outdoor gala, which features dinner and dancing under the moon and stars. Renoir’s Luncheon of the Boating Party, an iconic painting by the master French Impressionist, inspires this year’s theme.
The evening will begin with cocktails and hors d’ oeuvres at 6 p.m. with seated dining by Jewell Events Catering at 7:30. Music will be provided by Disarc DJs and a wine sale will be held throughout the evening. Garden party attire should be worn for the event.
Co-chairs are Tina Murray and Bo Skowronski; sponsors include Lon and Dick Behr, Karen Vaughn Harding, Sharyn and Joe Castrogiovanni, Lisa and Mark Lindman, Alpine Bank, Ameriprise/Lana Engen, Napleton Audi, Joan Stonecipher, Sarah Hagarty, OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center, Savant Capital Management, Anne and David Boccignone, Cheryl and Rick Bischoff, Anne and David Cable, Gail and Hugh Funderburg, William Lieberman and Title Underwriters Agency.
