The Rockford Aviators will host the River City Rascals this weekend with promotions each day thanks to Swedish American, OSF and Schnucks.
On Friday the Aviators will begin the continuation of their rainout game from June 25 at 4:00 p.m. and 30 minutes after the end of that game they will play their second game which will only go seven innings.
Schnucks is hosting a can food drive that night and by bringing a nonperishable food item for donation any fan can receive $2 off a regular priced ticket.
OSF Saint Anthony College of Nurses will have a gate giveaway and there will be post game fireworks presented by Power Connections.
The surrounding Rockford area hospitals, Swedish American, Rockford Memorial, OSF and VanMatre Hospital are sponsoring Strike Out Stroke night at Aviators Stadium on Saturday with the game beginning at 7:05 p.m.
There will be free blood pressure checks and the first 250 fans to get their blood pressure checked will receive a seat cushion.
The hospitals will also be handing out gate giveaways at random times and there will be stroke awareness information posted by each hospital.
The Aviators conclude their homestand versus River City with Family Day on Sunday at 3:05 p.m.
Fans will be allowed to play catch in right field from 2-2:30 p.m.
