The Last Degree will be performing popular rock from the 1970s to current day during this week’s City Market in the pavilion.
The Rockford Mass Transit District Trolley and Trolley Car 36 will be offering rides downtown to the Rockford City Market.
Locals can ride this free RMTD Trolley during the City Market hours and it rides between the Riverfront Museum Campus, the City Market and Davis Park.
The Trolley Car 36 pulls up on the tracks by the market and goes back to Nicholas Conservatory & Gardens.
Kid’s activities will be provided by the Discovery Center Museum and St. James Home and School will be featuring a Christmas in July theme offering snowman themed kids crafts.
The Rockford Road Runners who began in 1968 with the objective to promote and encourage running and walking will be at the gates providing information about their group.
On Saturday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Andrew Robinson will be performing live music during the North End City Market and kid’s activities will be provided by the Boys & Girls Club.
