Lifescape Community Services announces participation in USDA’s Child and Adult Care Food Program

Lifescape Community Services-Brightside Adult Day Service has announced its participation in the USDA’s Child and Adult Care Food Program.

The same meals will be served at no separate charge to enrolled participants at Lifescape Brightside Adult Day Services, 1055 E. State Street and operates 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

This program, administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Illinois Department on Aging, gives financial assistance to adult day care service so that nutritious meals can be integrated with nonresidential care services.

The goal of the program is to improve the diets of participants and the meals and snacks served meet standards established by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Lifescape Community Services-Brightside Adult Day Service does not discriminate in admission to programs or activities in compliance with the Civil Rights Act.

The same meals will be served at no separate charge to enrolled participants at the center listed below and will be provided in accordance with federal law and United States Department of Agriculture policy.
