Aviators return to town for homestand this week

The Aviators opened up a six game homestand Tuesday night, kicking off a series of special events at the ballpark.

On Wednesday night the Aviators will celebrate Faith Night. All churches are welcome and tickets to the game are only $2. This promotion excludes home plate club and must be purchased in advance. Fans are encouraged to call ahead as seats fill up fast.

Thursday the Aviators conclude their three-game series against Evansville. $1 10-ounce Bud Light and Budweiser beer and 16-ounce Bud Light and Budweiser aluminums for $2 courtesy of LaMonica Beverages.

Friday the Aviators open their series with the River City Rascals and kick off their Western themed weekend. The first 250 children ages 14-and-under through the gate will receive a blue Aviators foam finger. Gates open at 6:05 p.m. so arrive early to have better chances of getting one of a foam finger.

On Saturday the first 1,000 fans through the gate will receive a free cowboy bobble head. Fans are encouraged to wear any and all Western apparel; cowboy hats, lassos and cowboy boots are encouraged.

Sunday the Aviators close out their series with River City on Family Day. Kids Club members get in free and families with VIP Kids Club members can receive $2 off their tickets. Be sure to bring your child’s Kids Club member cards. Kids will also be allowed on the field from 2-2:35 p.m. before the game to play catch. After the conclusion of the game kids will be invited down to the field to run the bases.
