Rockford City Market seeks input from patrons

To help improve the Rockford City Market visitors are encouraged to take a survey to voice their comments and suggestions for planning of next years events. The survey is available online at surveymonkey.com/r/2015RockfordCityMarketPatron.

Acoustic band Long-Shot will be playing everything from blues-based rock ‘n’ roll to outlaw country.

Kids activities will be provided by Nicholas Conservatory who will have paper lei crafts and Bickford Senior Living will have fair games including football toss, bucket toss and bag toss.

The Rockford Health System booth at Market and Water Streets will have RHS Ambassadors, the networking, advocacy and educational arm of the Rockford Memorial Development Foundation. Learn about the Ambassadors and hear about what they do to help make patients and their families more comfortable while they are receiving care. There will be games, giveaways and more information about becoming an Ambassador.

Representatives from the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society will be at the gates providing information about the Light the Night Walk on Saturday, October 10 at Martin Park in Loves Park. Festival grounds open at 4:30 p.m. and the walk begins at 6:15 p.m. for Light the Night and more information is available at lightthenight.org/il/.
