The monthly drop-off recycling day for Ogle County residential electronics sponsored by the Ogle County Solid Waste Management Department will be Friday, September 25. The location is at the Ogle County Solid Waste Management Department at 909 W. Pines Road, Oregon, (one block west of Illinois Route 2), at the south end of the building.
A $10 fee will be charged for each microwave oven brought in for recycling. Checks should be made payable to Ogle County Solid Waste Management Department.
There is a limit of two TVs or computer monitors (or one of each) per monthly event. This event is open to Ogle County residents only. Electronics from residents of other counties will not be accepted. If you reside outside of Ogle County, please contact your local health department for options for e-waste recycling, or contact an electronics retailer.
Please remove any packaging from electronics prior to drop-off. OCSWMD cannot accept large cardboard boxes, Styrofoam, or other packaging associated with electronics destined for recycling.
