Apostolic Pentecostals of Rockford holds their first Fall Fundraiser Festival

Apostolic Pentecostals of Rockford will be holding their Fall Fundraiser Festival this Saturday and Sunday at 840 Mattis Avenue in Rockford to raise money for their Winter Revival providing shelter from the cold for homeless during the winter as well as their food pantry which is now serving over 200 families every Monday.

On Saturday the event features a silent auction from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. with donations still being accepted to auction off, train rides for kids of all ages, a bouncy house, horse shoes, grilled food and a picnic. A dinner will take place at 6 p.m. on Saturday and those attending are encouraged to bring a dish to pass. A Gospel Benefit concert will follow dinner at 7 p.m.

On Sunday festivities begin at 10 a.m. with a raffle for free items.

Doors will be open all winter long for those needing someplace to stay from 8 p.m.-6 a.m. from November 1-March 15.
