”Planting the Seeds of Hope,” a free Breast Cancer Awareness program, will be held on Monday at Giovanni’s, 610 N. Bell School Road. Registration and Healthcare Exhibits are at 5:30 p.m. and Speakers and Expert Panel are from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The panel of experts who will discuss the latest innovations in breast healthcare and answer questions include: Dr. Sandy Goldberg, breast cancer survivor, Founder and Chair of A Silver Lining Foundation, will present “There Is a Silver Lining” and share her story about fighting breast cancer; Dr. Bill Gorski, Swedish American President and CEO, who will give an update on the merger between SwedishAmerican and UW Health; and Dr. Srivani Sridharwill discuss an integrated approach to the prevention and treatment of breast cancer.
