The Boylan Players present “The Diary of Anne” Frank on November 13 and 14 at 7:30 p.m. and November 15 at 2 p.m. in the school auditorium. A reception will follow the Saturday evening performance. Boylan High School is located at 4000 St. Francis Drive.
The Diary of Anne Frank takes its story from the journal entries made by 13-year-old Anne Frank while she and her family were in hiding for two years during the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands. In 1944, the family was captured and sent to Nazi camps. Anne Frank died of typhus in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp. Her diary was rescued by the Franks’ family friend Miep Gies, who gave it to Anne’s father, Otto Frank, the family’s only known survivor.
All reserved seats are $8 and can be purchased by calling the Boylan Main Office 815-877-0531.
