Comprehensive Community Solutions, Inc. is seeking applicants for its YouthBuild Rockford Workforce Development program. This training program consists of high school equivalency prep, vocational training in construction resulting in an NCCER certification, employment/ post-secondary education placement assistance, support services and community service.
Those who successfully complete the YouthBuild Rockford AmeriCorps program will receive a $2,183 Segal Education Award for education or training after completion of the program. Those who meet attendance and performance requirements will receive a stipend.
Applicants for the training program must be between 16-24 years of age and live in Rockford. Applicants must also be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident. Those applying should have a desire to excel in all areas of achievement and be motivated to overcome all barriers.
