Illinois Solar Energy Association raffles off a Tesla Model S

Staff Report

The Illinois Solar Energy Association (ISEA) is raffling off a 2015 Tesla Model S with net drawing proceeds benefiting ISEA’s work in advancing clean energy development. One raffle entry is $100 or you can purchase four tickets for $300.

The Tesla Model S is the world’s first premium electric sedan. The Tesla has no tailpipes spewing harmful emissions allowing Tesla vehicles liberate their owners from the petroleum-burning paradigm. Tesla vehicles can use electricity however it is produced, be it from solar, hydro, geothermal, or wind power. As the grid shifts to increasingly efficient technologies, Tesla owners will have many opportunities to make use of them.

Only 2,000 tickets will be sold and the drawing will be held December 10. There is no limit on the number of tickets that can be purchased and you do not need to be present at the drawing to win. If less than 1,600 tickets are sold then the drawing converts to a 50/50 drawing.  Tickets are only valid if sold in the continental US.

The Illinois Solar Energy Association is a non-profit organization that promotes the widespread application of solar and other forms of renewable energy through education and advocacy. Learn more about ISEA at illinoissolar.org.

ISEA is also raffling off a home solar PV system for their 2015 raffle event. The solar PV raffle is open to Illinois residents only while the Tesla Model S raffle is open to all US residents.
