East High School students create virtual enterprise business

Rockford East High School students will be hosting a launch event for their business, Evolve Gaming, on Thursday, December 10 at 9:25 a.m. The event will be held at East High School, 2929 Charles St., in Room 005.

During this event students will provide details about their business including operations, marketing and product development. Students hope to be able to use the launch event to showcase their work to members of the business community.

This business is part of Rockford East High School’s Virtual Enterprise International Business class which brings business into the classroom and help students gain workplace experience.

Virtual Enterprise International is an in-school, live, global business simulation that offers students project-based learning and development of 21st-century skills in business, problem solving, entrepreneurship, communication, personal finance and technology.
