The House Cafe hosts 46th annual Country Music Show

On Sunday The House Cafe in DeKalb will be hosting the 46th annual Country Music Show and Toys for Toys Toy Drive from 1:30-5 p.m. at 263 E. Lincoln Highway in DeKalb.

The admission for the event is one new unwrapped children’s toy which will be collected by Toys for Tots and the Salvation Army to distribute to children for Christmas.

The emcee for the event is Brian Adams of B95 radio station and there will be live performances by various country, bluegrass and gospel groups as well as Christmas music performances. Performers are welcome for the event.

This show was started back in December of 1970 by Gary Mullis in Cortland, Illinois at the Cortland Town Hall. Gary will be singing at the Toy Drive show and there will also be performances by the King Brothers’ Gospel Group, Dale and Diane Reints Bluegrass Gospel and several others.
