The Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois will be hosting a Cookies & Comedy fundraiser on January 28 at Franchesco’s, 7128 Spring Creek Road. The fundraiser will begin at 6:30 p.m. and is an adult-only evening featuring Girl Scout Cookies, hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar and a silent auction.
The night will also have comedy courtesy of Kevis Haas, Matt Drufke and Sarah Black, a former Girl Scout from Rockford’s Ship 100. Rockford Area Arts Council President and CEO, Anne O’Keefe, will also be present.
Tickets for the event are $40 per person, $75 per couple and $300 for a table of eight. Attendees must be 21 years of age or older. Tickets are available at girlscoutsni.org/events/social-events.
Proceeds from the event will benefit over 15,000 girls by providing membership assistance and supporting Girl Scout programs that help girls develop skills for the future through the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.
Cookies & Comedy is sponsored by Quimby and Co., P.C., Lowe’s Regional Distribution Center, and B103.
