The Carlsons also founded and operated the Brad-Lynn Restaurant for many years which was name for their two children. The restaurant was later re-opened as Stockholm Inn.
Virginia worked as a nurse aid at Swedish American Hospital for many years and managed the catalog desk for J.C. Penney at Colonial Village for over a decade. She and her sister, June Pumilia, established and operated a food pantry at Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
The family has requested that there please be no gifts brought to the open house, just the enjoyment of company.
