On Wednesday the Rockford Association for Minority Management (RAMM), along with the Young Scholars Committee and Wabongo Leadership Council, will be sponsoring the 2015 RAMM Winter Social.
The social will take place at the Rockford Public Schools District 205 Administration Building, 501 7th St., in the third floor board room from 6-8 p.m.
The Winter Social will allow 2016 RAMM scholarship candidates, other high school students, former RAMM scholarship recipients and area professionals the chance to network over refreshments.
The social gives Rockford youth the opportunity to network with professionals from several industries as well as current college students and recent graduates. The Young Scholars Winter Social Organizers; Matthew Simpson, Jaron Hite, Ashya Ford, Amra Marshall, Faith Hyacinthe, and Ta’naysha Smith, all former RAMM scholarship recipients, have planned this event to share their knowledge and resources with Rockford youth the way RAMM provided them.
This event is free to the public and made possible by the Young Scholars Committee, Wabongo Leadership Council and the Rockford Association for Minority Management.
