UIC College of Pharmacy hosts High School Pharmacy Camp

The University of Illinois College of Pharmacy of Rockford is currently accepting applications for high school students interested in a career in pharmacy to take part in the High School Pharmacy Camp scheduled for Saturday, April 2. The camp will go from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at 1601 Parkview Ave. This camp will allow students the chance to explore the field of pharmacy through instruction and activities led by current pharmacy students.

Applicants must be current high school students, and display an interest in learning more about the field of pharmacy. It is recommended that students enjoy science-based courses, particularly chemistry. Cost for this camp is $25 which includes a T-shirt, light breakfast and lunch. Payments are due to UIC following admission. In order to be considered for the camp students must apply by March 11. Applications are available at go.uic.edu/hspc.
