Jabali African Acrobats return to Nordlof Center

The Jabali African Acrobats will be returning to the Nordlof Center at the Rockford Public Library to perform two shows. The performances will both be on Saturday, February 6 with one at 1 p.m. and the other at 4 p.m. The Nordlof Center is located at 118 N. Main St. This event is free and open to all ages.

The Jabali Acrobats are from Mombasa, Kenya, and combine fast paced movements, dance, music and acrobats to perform a full stage show. In addition to theatrical performances these artists have performed at festivals, NBA and college halftimes, and tour on a regular basis with the Harlem Globetrobbers. They also received a special invitation to perform at the White House for President Bill Clinton.

The shows will be held in the J.R. Sullivan Theater, are an hour long, and are limited to 280 people.
