Applications now being accepted for Rockford City Market vendors
Vendor applications for the 2016 Rockford City Market are now being accepted for new and returning vendors. Those wishing to apply must submit applications by April 1, however Early Bird discount rates for vendor fees will be available for those submitted by March 4. Vendors will be notified of their acceptance by March 18.
In order to apply go to rockfordcitymarket.com/vendor-application and fill out the information. Applicants must be able to provide photos of their products and booth setup to show the application committee. All details for applicants are available on the City Market website.
Rockford City Market is looking for local growers and vendors that sell natural products such as vegetables, fruits, eggs, meats, cheeses, flowers, herbs, baked goods, wines and healthy snacks. Artisans selling unique items are also encouraged to apply.
The 2016 season of the Rockford City Market will begin on Friday, May 20 and continue every Friday until September 30. The hours for the market are 3:30-8:30 p.m. until Labor Day after which they change to 3:30-7:30 p.m.
The North End City Market, located at the intersection of North Main and Auburn Streets, will again be managed by the Rockford City Market managers. The North End City Market will begin on Saturday, May 14 and go through October 29 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturdays.
