Enjoy new poetry at CNVR with Mas Tequila Review

Celebrate a night of poetry downtown as The Más Tequila Review and CNVR Company host two poets who have been published in The Más Tequila Review. Enjoy the work of visiting poet, J.T. Whitehead and local poet Dennis Gulling this Saturday from 7:30-9:30 at CNVR Company, 317 Jefferson Street.

Whitehead is the editor of So It Goes: The Literary Journal of the Kurt Vonnegut Memorial Library. He has published more than 125 poems in 60 publications – and half a dozen short stories as well, including one Pushcart Prize nominee. His first book, The Table of the Elements, published 2015, was nominated for a National Book Award. He was awarded the 2nd Annual Margaret Randall Poetry Prize ($500) in 2015 by The Más Tequila Review.

Dennis Gulling will preview work from his soon-to-be-released collection, The Blood Dark Sea, published by Zombie Logic Press.

Open to the public, no admission charge. A bar will be open.

Authors’ books and copies of So it Goes will be available for sale.
