Plan a monarch way-station, build a butterfly house, and learn about what you can do as a young budding scientist to join in the fun!
Get up close and personal with BONES. Teeth, claws and paws galore! Travel back in time and examine different types of specimens from extinct species to species we can find today!

The Mercyhealth Children’s Learning Center day-care will have a display talking about the Power of Play, and will be making sensory bottles as a craft with the kids, as well as providing information about their program.
The Mercyhealth Ronald McDonald Care Mobile provides free medical and dental care to uninsured and underinsured children. The Care Mobile will be on-site giving tours and providing more information about their program and services.
The Rock River Development Partnership recently received at $3,000 grant from LINK Up Illinois to develop a coupon program. This Double Value Coupon Program grant will be used to match the LINK dollars spent by LINK customers for the purchase of fruits and vegetables.
Organizers hope the program will increase awareness of the fruits and vegetables sold at the market and encourage shoppers to purchase this local produce from vendors. The program will be implemented at both Rockford City Market and North End City Market.
