National Farmers Market Week at Aug. 12 Rockford City Market
Rockford City Market and the Farmers Market Coalition are challenging market lovers to post creative photos on social media. Market guests are encouraged to pick up an “I Heart Farmers Markets” temporary tattoo at the info booth at either Rockford City Market on Friday, or North End City Market on Saturday and take a picture incorporating the temporary tattoo and the market, friends, farmers, etc.
Participants will post the photo on Instagram or Facebook and use the hashtags #LoveMyMarket and #RockfordCityMarket OR #NorthEndCityMarket and they will be entered to win a prize. The winner using #RockfordCityMarket and #NorthEndCityMarket will be announced on Monday, August 15, and the winner using #LoveMyMarket will be announced on September 15 (coordinated by the Farmers Market Coalition).
