RVC announces 3 finalists for president

Rock Valley College has announced the three finalists who have been selected in the search for its next president: Dr. Joseph E. Collins, Dr. Douglas J. Jensen, and Dr. Trevor A. Kubatzke.

Joseph E. Collins, Ph. D., is currently the Vice President for Academic Affairs at the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn. He recently completed a 14-month assignment as the Acting Interim President at COD.

Douglas J. Jensen, Ed.D., is the Assistant Director Educational Services, Alabama Industrial Development Training for  the Alabama Department of Commerce in Montgomery.

And Trevor A. Kubatzke, PhD., currently the Vice President of Student Services for Milwaukee Area Technical College.

On campus interviews, including forums open to the public, will be conducted next week. The open community forums will be held in the Student Center Atrium on RVC’s main campus, 3301 N. Mulford Road.

The forums are open to anyone in the community who wishes to attend. Beginning at 4:30 p.m. for each forum, the candidate will introduce him or herself briefly and will then answer questions from the audience. The sessions will all conclude with a meet-and-greet opportunity with the candidates.
