Frost Advisory overnight Wednesday, Thursday morning
Autumn has officially arrived for our region as the National Weather Service has issued the first Frost Advisory of the season.
Low temperatures tonight are expected to dip to the mid-30s, and the steady yet light rainfall we’ve had today is expected to continue throughout the afternoon and evening. Result: frost.
…FROST ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 2 AM TO 9 AM CDT THURSDAY…
* TEMPERATURE…MID 30S OVERNIGHT AND EARLY THURSDAY MORNING.
* IMPACTS…THE FIRST MORE WIDESPREAD FROST OF THE SEASON COULD KILL SENSITIVE OUTDOOR PLANTS IF LEFT UNCOVERED.
A FROST ADVISORY MEANS THAT WIDESPREAD FROST IS EXPECTED. SENSITIVE OUTDOOR PLANTS MAY BE KILLED IF LEFT UNCOVERED.
Get your plants covered or get them inside, folks. Winter is coming, or at least some chilly fall weather.
