Local teens hold 3rd annual thrifty fashion show
Keeping Families and Communities Together (KFACT) will host its 3rd Annual Thrifty Teen Fashion Show, Saturday, March 4, at the Prairie Street Brewhouse.
The show features fashions from various consignment shops and thrift stores in the Rockford area. The models will be the young ladies who are mentored through KFACT’s Lady All Stars program.
KFACT describes itself as a grassroots, nonprofit youth development and holistic mentoring organization serving underprivileged girls in Rockford. The group touts a 100 percent high school graduation rate for the young women in their organization with 92 percent of those moving on to post-secondary education.
