Early bird apps for City Market to close; Winter Market this weekend

The Early Bird rate for Rockford City Market vendor applicants expires this Friday. Vendors wishing to utilize this special application rate must submit their applications to be a vendor in the 2017 season of Rockford City Market by the end of the day on Friday.

All vendors are required to apply, whether they are new to the market or returning vendors from past seasons. In order to apply, vendors must go to rockfordcitymarket.com/vendor-application and fill out all of the necessary information.

Vendors must also be able to provide photos of their products and booth set-up to show the application committee. All details for applying are provided on the Rockford City Market website.

Rockford City Market looks for farmers and vendors to sell locally grown and handmade products including vegetables, fruits, eggs, meats, cheeses, flowers, herbs, baked goods and ethnic and prepared foods. Artisans and vendors selling unique offerings are also encouraged to apply.

Most vendors come from a 150-mile radius, ensuring locally grown produce and unique retail items.

2017 Winter Market

Familiar Rockford City Market vendors and some new faces will once again set up shop at Lou Bachrodt Auto Mall, 7070 Cherryvale N Blvd., this Saturday for the annual Winter Market. The market will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and vendors will be selling a variety of items.
