President Donald Trump on Thursday questioned why the U.S. would accept more immigrants from "shithole countries" after senators discussed revamping rules affecting those from Africa and Haiti.

The Washington Post reported Thursday that President Donald Trump, during a bi-partisan meeting, wondered why the U.S. was allowing immigrants from "shithole countries" into the nation.
