Farewell Angelina is an all-female country quartet featuring four women who are each award-winning songwriters, dynamic singers and multi-instrumentalists. Special Recital by Beloit native Zachary Peterson – Assisted by Ian Nie. Performance takes place at 3 p.m. at United Church, 657 Bluff St., Beloit, WI. Zach Peterson, Beloit native Concert Violinist performing special musical variety. Mr. Peterson, a Beloit native, is an accomplished Concert Violinist. He is a founding member of Turtle Creek Chamber Orchestra. After attending both The University of Western Ontario and Roosevelt University in Chicago, Mr. Peterson is in The Chicago Civic Orchestra. He has had the pleasure of performing with world-renowned cellist, YoYo Ma and with Julliard Music School’s viola Prof. Toby Appel. With his Scandinavian heritage, Mr. Peterson specializes in obscure or forgotten composers from the Scandinavian countries of Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland. The quality of his performances and the beauty in these unknown pieces promises to fill your afternoon with great music. $10 Donation requested at door – proceeds for scholarships for our young performers studying abroad in Germany in 2017.
