ROCKFORD – The Rockford Park District will host a new men’s flag football league this fall.

The league will run from Sept. 15 to Nov. 17 at Southwest Community Park. Teams of up to 15 players are welcome.

Players must be at least 18. Team registration is $625, which includes game shirts.

The league is a 7-on-7 format, with no blocking and no tackling; games consist of two 20-minute halves.

Registrations are due by Sept. 10, if capacity has not been reached earlier. Register online, or at Park District Customer Service locations: UW Health Sports Factory in downtown Rockford, or at Carlson Ice Arena or Mercyhealth Sportscore Two in Loves Park.
