Seven men arrested in Rockford prostitution sting

ROCKFORD — Seven Rockford men face charges after an undercover prostitution sting in Police District 2 Thursday, April 25.

Police say the men were arrested as part of an operation where officers target men, known as “johns,” who attempt to purchase sex from undercover police officers. The operation is part of the Rockford Police Departments “end-demand” approach to combating the street-level commercial sex trade.

Arrested in Thursday’s sting were Leonard Adams, 69, Rockford: solicitation of a sexual act;
Christopher Patton, 47, Rockford: solicitation of a sexual act;  David Brown, 55, Rockford: solicitation of a sexual act, possession of cannabis and driving on revoked license; Erardo Estrada-Lopez, 29, Rockford: solicitation of a sexual act; Christopher Hill, 37, Rockford: solicitation of a sexual act and driving on a revoked license; Jimmy Ruvacalba, 19, Rockford: solicitation of a sexual act; and Hadi Ahmas, 21, Rockford: solicitation of a sexual act.
