Dates announced for FVV Fan Fest, basketball camp

ROCKFORD – The Rockford Area Convention & Visitors Bureau on Tuesday announced the return of the FVV Fan Fest, featuring Rockford native and NBA champion Fred VanVleet.
The FVV Fan Fest is on Friday, July 12, from 5 to 9 p.m. at the UW Health Sports Factory, downtown. The event is serves as the opening celebration for the 2019 FVV Summer Camp, which runs July 13-14 at Sports Factory.
The festival is open to all ages. There will be include shooting stations, three-point and dunk contests, bouncy houses, live T-shirt screenings, and more—all to celebrate VanVleet’s success on and off the court and the positive impact of RACVB’s sports tourism efforts.

FVV Summer Camp
The 2019 FVV Summer Camp, produced by VanVleet, is set for Saturday and Sunday, July 13-14, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. It is designed for boys and girls ages K-12. Campers will learn skills and compete in contests led by VanVleet and his staff. Cost $100. All registered attendees will receive free admission to FVV Fan Fest, lunch and a camp T-shirt.
