CHICAGO  – The Chicago Blackhawks, on Monday, announced the roster for their 2019 training camp that begins Friday, Sept. 13, with a practice at Fifth Third Arena.

The roster includes 55 players: 32 forwards, 17 defensemen and six goaltenders. Twenty players appeared in at least one game for the Blackhawks during the 2018-19 season. Nineteen saw action with the Rockford IceHogs.

On Sunday, fans will get a chance to see the Blackhawks at the annual Training Camp Festival, which beings with a scrimmage the United Center.  General admission tickets for Training Camp Festival are on sale now for just $5 at Blackhawks.com. The first 10,000 fans to enter the building will receive a Patrick Kane bobblehead. Puck drop is at 11 a.m.

Six of Chicago’s preseason contests will be carried on television, one game on NBC Sports Chicago Sept. 18 versus Detroit, and five games on NBC Sports Chicago Plus.

Highlighting the preseason slate is the exhibition game Saturday, Sept. 29 against Eisbaren in Berlin as a part of the NHL Global Series that will air on NBC Sports Chicago Plus. All NBCSCH games can also be streamed live online at NBCSportsChicago.com and the MyTeam by NBC Sports app.
