Illinois’ stay at home order will be extended to May 30 with modifications

By Jim Hagerty Reporter CHICAGO - Gov. J.B. Pritzker onThursday announced that he will extend the statewide stay-at-home order until May 30 with a number of adjustments. Under the new order, nonessential retail businesses may offer pickup, curbside service and delivery. Hospitals may resume some elective procedures and surgeries that were canceled as the result the pandemic. However, medical centers must meet certain criteria, and keep enough beds open for possible COVID-19 surges.…
